People with a disability

We are committed to providing fair trading services to all our customers. Our Diversity and Equity Strategy aims to ensure that if you are from a vulnerable or disadvantaged group you will have equal access to knowledge about Fair Trading and its services.

People with a disability are one of the equity target groups identified in our Diversity and Equity Strategy. We regularly consult with organisations representing people with a range of disabilities. We are reviewing our premises to identify and remedy any access issues. A range of TTYs (Telephone Typewriters) is available to help you if you have a hearing impairment.

We also employ people with a range of disabilities. Where necessary, adjustments are made to their workplace. To help staff and management identify and manage disability issues, disability awareness information is included in our Access and Equity Manual.
