Community Land Management Regulation

The Community Land Management Regulation 2007 commenced on 1 September 2007.

The Regulation was made in accordance with statutory rules which require Regulations to be reviewed and where necessary, re-made every 5 years. As such, the 2007 Regulation replaces the Community Land Management Regulation 2000, with only minor amendments. The changes include:

  • minor amendments to record keeping requirements - to simplify records management and to promote consistency with the strata legislation, the prescribed period for the retention of all classes of records has been changed to 5 years; and
  • minor changes to fees - the fees payable to an association for inspection of records and for the issuing of a certificate have been increased in line with the Consumer Price Index to reflect the current costs of the services provided by associations and to promote consistency with the strata legislation.
