Fair Trading to visit Chatswood
5 October 2010
Fair Trading Deputy Commissioner Steve Griffin today said consumers and business owners in Chatswood and surrounding suburbs could learn more about their rights and responsibilities during a week-long program of visits and presentations by Fair Trading officers next week.
Mr Griffin said Fair Trading staff would be carrying out compliance activities, business inspections in and around Chatswood and promoting consumer services from Monday 11 to Friday 15 October.
“Fair Trading takes Community and Regional Access Programs into communities so consumers know where they can turn to for advice or support if things go wrong,” he said.
A range of information sessions will be held for:
- Associations
- Seniors
- Retail and residential tenancy
- High school students
- Motor dealers and repairers
