Rise of the new consumer
The rise of the new consumer presentation took place on 17 November 2008 at the Museum of Sydney.
Cashed-up baby boomers in their leisure years, Generation X in the home building phase and Generation X footloose and fancy free are all vastly different to the frugal generation that came from the Depression and war years. Bernard Salt explores how these segments respond to economic and generational change.
