The Business Licence Information Service (BLIS)  is a free service run by the Office of Fair Trading. BLIS provides information on licence requirements through its computerised database. Online licence renewals

Lodge your renewal for your pawnbroker, second-hand dealer, motor dealer, travel agent, home builder or tradeperson licence online at the Government Licensing Service. You can also update your particulars while lodging your renewal.
