Nightwear
The Fair Trading Regulation 2007 requires that children’s nightwear and limited daywear must comply with either the 1999 or the 2003 version of Australian/New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 1249 – Children's nightwear and limited daywear having reduced fire hazard. From 1 March 2008 children's nightwear and limited daywear must comply with Australian/New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 1249-2003.
In 2005 the following products were detected as being unsafe in product safety surveys that were conducted.
