Swimming aid vests
Division 9 – Fair Trading (General) Regulation 2002.
This regulation requires swimming aids to comply with Australian Standard AS 1900 – 1991 – Flotation toys and swimming aids for children. The law applies to rings, partial rings, arm bands and kick boards that are inflatable, hollow moulded or made substantially from expanded foam, certain inflatable boats as well as swimming vests and flotation bubbles.
