Timeshare
The Australian Timeshare and Holiday Ownership Council Ltd (ATHOC) has developed a Code of Practice which establishes fair trading standards for its members.
If you have a complaint or concern, the first thing you need to do is contact the timeshare organisation and explain how you want the situation resolved.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, the next step is to contact the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) which provides independent dispute resolution for financial services disputes. You can contact them on 1300 780 808 or visit their website at www.fos.org.au
