Case study - faulty dishwasher 

Megan unloading her dishwasherMegan bought a brand new dishwasher which turned out to be faulty and the manufacturer refused to replace it despite a number of service calls and complaints.

Megan was annoyed with the situation as she wasn’t getting any results from the manufacturer. So, she contacted Fair Trading and within 24 hours the manufacturer rang and said they would replace the dishwasher with the new one within a week.  Megan was very pleased.
