Fair Trading's Money Stuff website offers information for young people on saving and budgeting, purchasing your first car and renting. The website contains a range of information relating to young people and their consumer rights, in addition to teaching resources such as lesson planners and case studies. It also provides information on the annual Money Stuff Challenge competition which is offered to NSW high school students in years 8-10 for their chance to be creative in developing consumer messages using fun, interactive media that will appeal to their peers. Back by popular demand, the Money Stuff Challenge People's Choice Awards, sponsored by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) is now open. With a cash prize of $1,000 to be awarded to the winning school and $100 to each student of the winning entry, you get to be the judge and vote for your favourite from the shortlisted Money Stuff Challenge entries.
