Helping businesses prepare for new gift card laws

The resources on this page can be used by NSW businesses at the point of sale to help inform customers of the changes to gift card laws. You can either:

In-store notice

This is for use in-store at the counter and/or where gift cards are displayed.

The notice for customers states that gift cards sold in NSW from 31 March 2018 must have a 3 year minimum expiry period and that post-purchase admin fees are prohibited.
