The committee is responsible for managing the affairs of the incorporated association in accordance with the incorporated association’s constitution and the requirements of the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 (the Act).
When new committee members are elected or appointed it's a good idea to make information that will help them understand and meet their obligations available.
A Checklist for incoming committee (PDF, 785.55 KB) may be used to pass on important information to new committee members. This is particularly relevant when there is a completely new committee.
The Checklist should be kept in a safe place along with the minutes or the Register of committee members.
