Public access to fundraiser information

If a member of the public asks to see documentation, the charity has to provide the following within 30 days:

  • Copies of the annual audited statement of accounts prepared for the seven years prior to the request.
  • Copy of or extracts from the organisation’s objects and constitution, including any amendments.
  • The names, qualifications and occupations of members of the governing body of the organisation. The qualifications of the director or member of the governing body would normally relate to the person’s academic or professional qualifications.
