Applying for strata mediation

Fair Trading's free strata mediation service may assist you when a disagreement occurs in your strata scheme.

If you are unable to resolve a dispute through discussion or the governance and decision making powers of the owners corporation, you can apply for a mediator to help resolve the dispute.

Before you apply

Making your application

The application may take about 15 minutes to complete.

You will not be able to save your progress through the form, so make sure you have all the information handy before you start. You will receive an email copy of the information you provide to us when you have submitted the form.

Some things you'll need

  • Your details
  • The details of the person(s) you are in a dispute with
  • Your strata plan number
  • Any documents you want to attach to your application (supporting documents)
