Green energy, also known as renewable energy, include solar, wind, and hydro energy is better for the environment than traditional energy sources. We encourage businesses and NSW residents to use green energy where they can.
There are a number of requirements that traders must be aware of before advertising, contracting and/or installing any green energy system. NSW Fair Trading is responsible for making sure that green energy installers complete their work in line with the Australian Standard and that they are licensed under the Home Building Act 1989.
