About holiday parks
NSW Fair Trading has put together an occupation agreement for park owners and occupants to use when people leave their vans in a caravan park for occasional recreational use.
The Holiday Parks (Long-term Casual Occupation) Act 2002 requires all arrangements to be in writing and for certain items to be included in the occupation agreements.
Disposal of uncollected goods
From 1 July 2020, the Uncollected Goods Act 1995 can be used to dispose of goods left behind or abandoned by an occupant or resident at the end of an agreement. See uncollected goods for more information on the rules for the disposal of goods.
