Building Code Advisory Service
The Department of Customer Service operates a Building Code Advisory Service to provide general information about the Building Code of Australia. Information is unable to be provided about other matters such as builder or contractor licences, plumbing/electrical/gas installations, building contracts, building defects, workmanship and/or any disputes/complaints about licence holders or building certifiers. This service operates between 9.30am and 11.30am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
