On 29 April 2016 new swimming pool laws came into effect. Go to the swimming pools page for more information.

Changes to tenancy laws mean it is now a material fact, that is, an issue that must be disclosed prior to entering into any agreement, if a property is listed on the register of residential properties that contain or have contained loose-fill asbestos insulation.

The standard tenancy agreement includes a requirement to notify tenants if the premises they want to lease is on the Loose-fill Asbestos Insulation register, or if the premises is added to the register during the tenancy.
